So far, our spring plans are coming along nicely. Look at how nice our little plants look:
Kale babies line the left side, with spinach (ready to be transplanted already to the raised bed) in the middle. Way in the back, you'll notice our row of little leeks. I'm actually super-excited about the kale. It is by far my favorite green, and we haven't had much luck with it in past years. Our very first gardening year we had a huge kale plant that wouldn't quit, and we were fooled into thinking kale was easy to grow. This year, we bought all new seed, new variety, and so far so good.

Lisa liked the way our aloe and agave looked on their stand in the mudroom:
And finally, this was a pizza that Lisa made a couple of weeks ago. It was awesome. The crust was perfect chewy/crispy, and it was topped with pesto (homemade!), caramelized onions, and Parmesan cheese. We sprinkled it with fresh basil, too. It was amazing.
